Rod Blank Warranty

Rodmaker 247™ Blank Inspection & Limited Warranty

7‑Day Inspection Window

Every Rodmaker 247 blank comes with a 7‑day inspection period starting the day it arrives. During this time, the buyer should:

  • Unpack the blank
  • Inspect it for straightness, finish issues, or defects
  • Flex it lightly
  • Confirm it meets their expectations before building

If there is any defect, we’ll replace the blank or issue a refund — no hassle.

After 7 Days / After Building

Once the blank has been:

  • Kept for more than 7 days, or
  • Built into a finished rod, or
  • Cut, sanded, wrapped, glued, or modified in any way

…it is no longer eligible for warranty replacement.

Why? Because once a blank is built on, we can’t determine whether a failure came from:

  • A manufacturing defect
  • A building error
  • A component issue
  • A stress point introduced during assembly
  • Normal fishing use

After the 7‑day inspection window, the blank is considered accepted and approved by the builder.

Failures After Building

If a blank breaks after it has been built, it is not covered under warranty.

However, we offer a builder‑friendly replacement discount so you can keep your customer fishing without taking a loss.

Summary (the simple version)

  • 7 days to inspect → we replace defects
  • After 7 days → blank is accepted
  • After building → no warranty
  • Breaks after building → discounted replacement available
