Each stint has a .315" outside diameter, allowing you to reduce the blank’s OD at the butt section and create a perfectly sized mounting surface for your reel‑seat insert.

Instead of sanding or thinning the blank, the stint provides a clean, centered interface — ensuring your insert fits straight and secure, regardless of material choice.
