RM1 Reel Seat — Dark Nickel Uplocking - Walnut Insert

The RM1 traces back to the LC6, a reel seat I originally designed and released years ago. That first generation was produced by Joel Lemke, and it quickly became a recognizable style in custom rod building. Eventually the design was copied and manufactured overseas, but rather than let the imitation dominate the market, I’m reclaiming the lion’s share of sales by offering the RM1 — the rightful continuation of the original LC6 concept.

This RM1 features dark nickel–plated aluminum hardware in a classic uplocking orientation, fully assembled with the walnut insert bonded to the barrel and hood. The alignment is already set, giving rod builders a clean, reliable component without the inconsistencies found in mass‑produced copies.
